Collegiate Housing Services offers the Connect Housing program at apartment communities near campus. This program is designed for those who already have roommates arranged, or would like to select a roommate from CHS’ pool of Connect Housing applicants, and are willing to enter a joint liability lease. Students in the Connect Housing program also provide their own furniture.

Each resident within the CHS Connect Housing Program is on a joint and several liability CHS lease with their roommate(s) that covers the following:
- Your monthly apartment rental cost
- Your utility cost (up to a monthly cap)
- Access to the CHS Roommate Matching software
Your monthly housing payment also provides Student/Resident Life Programming as well as Resident Assistants in most markets.
Yes! Even though you will have access to our roommate matching software, if you have a friend attending the same school who you want to live with, just include their names on your application and make certain that they include you on their applications as well.
After we receive your application, we apply our student and military-friendly credit qualifications/terms, then we review your preferences so we can find you a great place to live. The review process typically takes a few weeks. Once you’re approved, we’ll send you access to CHS’ roommate matching software so you may begin the roommate selection process. We’ll send information and reminders about every 45 days to help you get ready for move-in day.
Apartments are unfurnished and configurations vary depending on pricing and location preferences. All apartments include heat and air conditioning with budgeted utility costs included, most include dishwashers and full-size appliances. Apartment communities typically feature on-site laundry facilities, clubhouses, swimming pools and/or exercise facilities. You may coordinate with your chosen roommate regarding food, cookware, bathroom items, linens, and cleaning supplies.
